When I make normal turns (definitely on sharper turns), like coming out of the drive and onto the street, especially for right turns, I hear a knocking sound coming from the front, like the tire is catching some rubber or plastic molding, but I see no signs of that. Mine is a 2019 Edge Titanium AWD. Stock wheels (20"). I got it in 2021 with 25k miles, it's now just over 70k. I didn't notice this when living in Denver, CO but the past year I've been in St Louis, MO and I've noticed it consistently. The street surfaces around here are AWFUL so maybe this is a suspension thing? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I have since discovered this happens when I turn left as well. It seems the sharper the turn, the more knocking/tapping sound I hear. I think this may be nothing but I'll let it set here a bit longer if someone things I'm hearing a problem.

This can be a symptom of a failing CV joint in your axle. That would be my first target.

Thank you! I researched into that and I think you might be right. I have an appointment scheduled this week and I'll report back how it turned out. Thanks again!
