Hello,
I bought a Ford EDGE 2021 Titanium AWD from the US - damaged in the left front, damaged harness in the bumper and damaged 3 relays in the upper left box.
At the moment I have a problem with an error from BCM:
b1277:11 reverse light short to ground
- Reversing lights do not work
- Red position lights in the rear lights do not work (sometimes they flash when trying to start)
- Side lights do not light up
I don't know if this is a consequence of an accident or if this failure had happened before - were there any known problems of this type in the Ford EDGE - is this a typical failure for this model year?
I dismantled the rear lights - once the left one, once the right one, to check if the lights would work if one was missing - but it didn't help. Do you have any suggestions on where I could look for the reason why these lamps are not working? What could be causing this reverse light error - because it's probably a related problem.
Thanks in advance for your help, Darek from Krakow (Poland)
