Now that things are warming up I went to use the ac the other day and it's not cold. It was actually not that hot outside so it was better to just keep it off and use outside air.
At any rate just wondering what the proper process might be to try and troubleshoot.
In the past I have had HVAC issues with hot vs cold and do the 'reset trick via holding whatever buttons it is to reset it' and I did replace the blend door actuator last year.
This seems different as in it's not blowing hot instead of cold or one side etc. so I don't 'think' the reset is my option.
So do I:
- check fuses
- try and see if the compressor engages?
- this is a 10+ year old vehicle so does the refrigerant need to be replaced eventually?

Any good videos out there? I have used MACTFORDEDGE for some stuff but didn't see an a/c guide (maybe he has one). I did just see one from the Car Wizard which might be good for me to review.

Update: Looks like I will start with the relay and then try and see where the compressor is and if it is engaging.
